Silver stone set ring making workshop

Come and spend a day creating a unique sterling silver stone set ring in this popular small group workshop with experienced jeweller, Sophie Marsden.
*Beginners welcome.*

*What to expect ~
During the workshop you will explore traditional and contemporary jewellery making techniques such as shaping, forming, soldering, texturing, stamping, stone setting, finishing and polishing.
There will be the choice from many different beautiful gemstones. You will make a bezel setting for your chosen stone and a silver ring band with the choice of sheet silver or different shaped silver wires and many texture options to make the ring unique to you. This can include my popular natural leaf print texture.

If there is time and you would like to make a second stacking ring to sit alongside your stone set ring. ( See above photos) you are very welcome. This will be an additional £15 so please bring cash on the day.

You will go home with a finished beautiful, unique stone set ring.

*Materials and Equipment ~
I will provide each person in the group with all tools, silver and one gemstone of your choice to complete the workshop project. Tea, coffee and biscuits will be available throughout the workshop. Please bring along your own packed lunch..

*Location and Times.~
The workshop will take place in our spacious but cosy yurt with beautiful surroundings overlooking Grogley woods, Withiel North Cornwall. Just 5 miles outside Wadebridge. These workshops will run on Saturdays. Please see available dates..
We will begin at 10am and finish around 4pm.

*Accessibility ~
The yurt is set up on decking with steps up to it so unfortunately it is not accessible for wheelchairs.

* £100 per person. This workshop will host a maximum of 4 people.*
°Workshop suitable for ages 16+

CANCELLATION POLICY:

If cancelling up to 10 days before workshop date a full refund will be offered,

If cancelling up to 5 days before workshop date, transfer to another date will be offered. Sadly if cancelling within 5 days of the workshop date, no refund or transfer can be offered.
